Discover the intriguing world of sea creatures by planning your next visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. In a multi-sensory experience, the aquarium is home to more than 11,000 animals in more than 50 exhibits! There are exhibits and shows for all ages.

See a show in their spectacular Ocean Theater or touch, feed, and learn about your favorite animals in any of their interactive exhibits! As the aquarium celebrates their 20th anniversary, we encourage you to take part in their special events, programs, and exhibits. You can learn about and meet animals like Charlie the sea otter, Lou the turtle, and some exciting new residents that have arrived just in time for the celebration!

Through these programs and a variety of multimedia experiences, the Aquarium provides opportunities to dive deeper into the ocean and learn more about our planet. This season, highlights include FROGS: Dazzling and Disappearing exhibit, Shark Lagoon Nights, and the addition of several new animals on view in the Deepwater exhibit in the Northern Pacific Gallery.

The aquariums exhibit FROGS: Dazzling and Disappearing shows nearly two dozen species in thematic displays, giving off immersive sounds, featuring educational graphics, along with highlighting the diversity of species and their uncertain future.

The public is invited to get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators at the Aquarium of the Pacific for FREE during Shark Lagoon Nights. Guests will have the opportunity to touch bamboo sharks and see large sharks such as sand tigers as well as rays.

The Northern Pacific Gallery features 16 exciting exhibits, including the Northern Pacific Preview, Surge Channel, several species of sea jellies, including the newest addition of four bigeye octopuses, three spiny king crabs, spot prawns and California sidegill sea slug.
