Jazz Fest Update: 2020 Hollywood Bowl Season Canceled

22 May
2020

You have likely now seen reports that the 2020 Hollywood Bowl season has been canceled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are saddened that this includes one of our members’ favorite annual events, the Smooth Summer Jazz Festival, also known as the JVC Jazz Festival. This decision comes after the latest guidance of public health officials in an effort to protect performers, staff, and audiences from further spread of the virus.

Though the Smooth Summer Jazz Festival will not be taking place this year, the Hollywood Bowl is providing alternative resources for entertainment. This includes recordings of past concerts, backstage interviews, and inspirational rehearsals, as well as quarantine interviews. There’s a little something for everyone!

Visit www.hollywoodbowl.com to watch & listen.

We hope to be able to enjoy this event again with you next year! In the meantime, we hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy, safe, and taking care of yourselves. We know this is disheartening news to our community of ACEBSA members, and undoubtedly brings many questions and concerns. Please reach out to us via our live chat here on our website,  https://www.acebsa.org/, if you have any questions.

Wishing you health and safety,

Team ACEBSA
